Happy Halloween!

Alright, so I'm going to count the camping event as Saturday's event, considering it spilled into the next day. Other exciting things that happened that day... aTm beat TECH! WHOOP!

On to Sunday, Halloween! That day I went to church, had a Muster meeting, went over to Brittany Griffin's house for the Rangers game and apple cider, and then watched the new zombie TV series, "The Walking Dead" with my neighbors. Though this day was entertaining and eventful, I can't help but remember the days where I could barely go to sleep in anticipation of Trick-or-Treating the next day.

I'd go to school on Halloween in my awesome costume I'd spent all month thinking up (or Yvonne thought of) and then I'd roam the neighborhood grabbing candy left and right while watching out for creepy white vans the News told me to avoid. I'll never forget the old man on the corner of Martinique who would give king sized Snickers bars every year. I used to think he must be the richest man in the world. (Bucket List: hand out king-sized candy at Halloween when I own a house) Then I'd run home with my brother and we'd sit in the den. For some reason, I would sort all my candy out. The M&M pile, the Laffy Taffy pile, the gum pile, the pencils and rulers pile (hated those houses), etc. We would bag them all up in separate zip-locks and then my mom would bribe me for my Reece's pieces. Those were the days.

In honor of the glory days... Yvonne sent me old pictures of me and my brother, Josh, in our different Halloween costumes over the years. Here are a few!

What're you trying to say, Mom and Dad?

 That's more like it!

I went through a bit of a tom-boy stage that year... Josh was just a strange child. haha
 Howdy, Ags! We're from Wichita!

Grease! I like how Yvonne and John would coordinate our outfits... sorry Josh... haha

EXTREMELY excited!

I put myself in the M&M pile that year... bad joke.

Still dressing up for Halloween in 12th grade? yes, please!
