As many of you may have heard, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is coming out tomorrow night at midnight! I have been anxiously awaiting this day since Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I even purchased my ticket with MaryCameron a month and a half ago. I cannot believe the time has come! As is only fitting... Kenzie (my roommate) and Mike, Wells and Kyle (our neighbors) and I went out to the porch and whittled our wands in preparation for the premier. Mike had sought out some nice sticks, gathered the feathers of a few guinea hens that annoyingly roam our neighborhood and called us out to the porch. We all whittled our wands with knives and then took a drill to secure the feathers. Next, we stained the wands to make them more "realistic". I feel that these wands will really add to our costumes. :) Until then, I have provided you with pictures and a nice article on the top 25 spells used at Hogwarts. I have memorized them and I hope you will too.
